Audiobooks

E-books and Audiobooks are definately a way to go if we are looking at saving our rainforests. Although the idea does not appeal to everyone, we need a quick solution to use less paper.

E-books are hard to find on the net and finding a transporter (like an ipod) is even harder. The best way is if you have a PDA, most of which support .pdf format, but then you are still stuck with finding a selection of e-books.

Nothing beats reading a book, but Audiobooks are the next best thing especially for people who are really just not into reading. Audiobooks also work great for those who walk, run or drive a lot. Especially for all your old favourites, this is a real plus as you can do it while you work.

Audiobooks take a bit of getting use to, but once you are hooked, you will never look back.

There are several links for Audiobooks. The best I have found is http://www.audible.com/ and then also Leisure Audiobooks. I must admit, I have only recently joined Leisure, so I have not been able to peruse their entire collection yet. But have a look and if you see anything you like, you will also be able to help the environment.
